This month we bid a sad au revoir to our Studio Manager, Residency Queen, friend, artist, companion, confidante, Maker of Opportunities, Founder of SoundsTown, all-round Mill idol, Stina Puotinen. Stina has headed back to the Big Apple but will be forever connected to Islington Mill. We will see her soon, but we are sad and missing our friend and colleague. An epic send-off was in order of course, and you’ll never listen to East 17 the same way…. Stina, Stina!

Thanks to everyone who joined Islington Mill Art Academy and friends for our reading group on Activism on Paper yesterday evening. Great conversation, energy and ideas. Stay tuned for future potluck dinner events, a great way to meet people, think and express yourself.

Welcome to all of our new tenants at Islington Mill. Readers, be sure to check out new and updated pages on our site from Art with HeartTV BabiesChristopher BurkeSwansong CoffeeSusan Gunn and Birds Hit Records.
