10 October is the night of the Salford Makers free studio party! Come along and meet the makers, have a drink and a dance, sign up for a workshop, and buy awesome original items. Free event but please register.

17 October is the launch of the Islington Mill Art Academy year-end show. ‘All we have…‘ shows work across multiple spaces at the Mill and Regent Trading Estate from our free art school collective as they approach the end of their year-long Mill residency. Runs from 17–21 October, click for times.

18 October is the deadline for two new job posts at Islington Mill. We’ve had charity status confirmed for Islington Mill Foundation and are accepting applications for our Arts Council-funded roles that will sit within the charity: Projects Coordinator and General ManagerClick links to read more about each role and apply, and please help us share the news.

19 October is the next one69a Fabric Screen Printing Workshop. The day-long session takes students through formal, experimental and expressive approaches to screen print design. Check our event calendar to stay up to date with more Salford Makers teaching sessions.

21–22 October is the weekend of The Refinery, a 2-day deep dive into facilitating groups and teams, renewing skills, refine your style and to learn alongside fellow experienced peers. Excellent  skill development opportunity, please read and share.
