Islington Mill is a former cotton spinning mill in Salford, very close to Manchester’s city centre. Unlike much of Manchester's industrial heritage, which has been converted into loft apartments, Islington Mill is now home to over 50 artists studios, an art gallery, a recording studio and a venue space.
Islington Mill is an ongoing independent project that is all about the 'doing'. The guiding philosophy is to encourage and facilitate innovation, ideas and experimentation whilst constantly making opportunities out of whatever resources are available in that given moment. More >Hug A Hovel
