Main Building Studio Details
Our studios maintain the character of the old mill: walls are whitewashed brick & plasterboard; floors are quarry tiled and ceilings are vaulted with iron columns. Each space provides natural light with at least one window measuring around 150cm x 180cm.
Individual studios are completely self contained: lockable, heatable and equipped with a one-hour fire door with a five lever mortice lock. Brand new & recently upgraded Wi-Fi can be accessed from all studios.
Your rent includes:
- waste removal
- buildings insurance
Rent is payable monthly on the first or fifteenth day of each month, depending on when your lease begins.
What size are the spaces?
Because of the nature of the building, most of our spaces don’t conform to a standard sizes, but they roughly split into three main categories:
- small = 3m x 3m
- medium = 3m x 6m
- large = 6m x 6m
Prices start from £150pcm.
What are the contract terms?
The contract is a month-by-month rolling license agreement, offering you maximum flexibility. There is no fixed or minimum term and your contract runs indefinitely. Our only condition is that you give a least one month’s notice of your intended leaving date – on or before the 1st of the month that you want to leave in.
To take a space at Islington Mill, you’ll need to pay your first month’s rent in advance, together with one month’s deposit, which is held until you leave. We may ask for proof of identification and address.
