The theme for February’s Last Friday event is Sharing.
Many of the artists at Islington Mill share space, making studio rental fees more affordable, increasing the size and the diversity of our community, and leading to some fantastic unexpected collaborations.
If you’re interested in having a space at Islington Mill and potentially sharing a studio with someone but don’t know where to start, register for our Last Fridays Sharing event on 24 February to find out who else in the creative community is looking to buddy up in a future studio.
You’ll have the chance to hear from artists in existing successful studio shares and be inspired by their collaborative set-ups, before we move onto ice-breakers and our ‘speed-friending’ event where we’ll get to hear a little about all the attendees: their practice, their hopes, dreams and needs from a studio space; and maybe we can start to team up potential future studio families.
We are asking all attendees to register for a free place via Eventbrite if possible so please click this link to do that.
Please note that not all of our spaces are currently fully accessible but by the time our refurbishment is completed, both the main Islington Mill building and New Islington Mill will have lift access to all floors.
