New work by Fresh Fruit.
Working for a Mate is the latest exhibition from Islington Mill art studio collective, Fresh Fruit. Co-Founders of the studio, Amrit Randhawa and Matthew Challenger, have been working on a series of paintings over the last 6 months.
The work explores life through a hermeneutic lens. Reflecting on their post graduate life, the pair consider the past two years to be a sort of fever dream, in which a combination of painting, graphic design, dream jobs and menial labour take over. ‘Working for a Mate’ accepts the quarter life crisis woes, and starts to ask questions about what will happen next.
Launch night: Thursday 28th March from 18.00–21.00.
Artist talk: Friday 29th March at 13:00.
Tickets for the launch night are free but please register for entry. A combination of “good times” and “free beer” is guaranteed with every ticket!
