Caustic Coastal welcomes Lauren Godfrey for the 2nd artist talk in our monthly series at Islington Mill taking place on the third Wednesday of every month, as part of the Mill’s new Weekly Wednesday Potlucks.

Lauren Godfrey graduated from Slade School of Art in 2012, last showing with us as part of an accumulative group show ‘Totemic; Polemic. Olive’ in April 2015 alongside Harry Meadows, Sean Edwards and Felicity Black. Recent exhibitions include ‘Entreé, Stage Left’ at Kingsgate Workshop, London, in June 2015 as part of her residency with Kingsgate Workshop studios, ‘All consuming: Perfect peaches, piled, awaiting pressing fingertips’ a performance at Nottingham Contemporary with Hannah Regel as part of BNC2015, alongside a curatorial project developed for Turf Projects, London – “‘Art in restaurants is on the same level as food in museums’ Niles Crane” exploring the positioning of food and art within each other’s spaces.

Weekly Wednesday Potlucks

Islington Mill is open to the public every Wednesday for a rotating series of lectures, film nights, artist critiques & hands on workshops as an addition to our potluck tradition.

Doors are at 6pm, food in the 1st floor Common Room and event times for the Gallery Space will be as announced week to week.

All are welcome to attend either the potluck or the event, or both!
