The idea for SIRENS Socials emerged from their core values of collaboration, interdisciplinarity, and amplification and was one of the key drivers for creating our community. Every other month, they meet to network, make new friends, offer and receive support, discuss new ideas, exchange knowledge, plan collaborations, and plot for the future! Each Social has a featured format.
Socials take place from 5pm on the last/fourth Thursday of every other month at locations in Manchester, for now. Socials are free to attend and we prioritise inclusivity, accessibility, and camaraderie. We are simply providing the space and the call to come together, along with occasional special events, guest speakers, and other collective cultural delights.
