One of One is BACK with our next installation “Spring Clean” opening on 9 March to coincide with the openings of two exhibitions at Caustic Coastal, As Yet – Leo Fitzmaurice | The Hum – Tžužjj.
For “Spring Clean”, we’ve asked a selection of local, national and international artists to clean out their archives and submit past work that has been forgotten, rejected or gathering dust to present in this new context. One of One will present and pair these works alongside objects & materials associated with both cleanliness and Cadbury, springtime and scouring pads.
We invite participants working across media including graphics, painting, sculpture, ceramics, interiors, illustration, furniture, jewellery, craft and music to contribute one-off original artworks and products that can only be found in our shop.

One Of One is a cross disciplinary platform that functions as both an exhibition and shop environment. It is a space where art and design meet & collaborate; where designers can experiment with new materials, forms and techniques with a freedom from functionality and without having to consider production on a large scale. It is also an opportunity for artists to experiment with making “useful” products for consumption as well as editions that don’t have the pressure of being identical and where variations, accidents and individuality are encouraged.
