In this workshop, tutor Pascal will take you through all the steps needed to create intricately marbled plate designs.
You will learn how to marble different coloured clay using either nerikomi or marbling techniques, and how to inlay these into slabs in preparation for turning them into bowls or plates.
You will be able to keep 2 medium or 3 small plates/bowls to be fired at the studio by our technicians, and these will be able to be collected from the studio 3-4 weeks after the workshop.
7 Spot Pottery is an open access studio based within the first floor of Islington Mill artists studios, which is a converted Victorian mill building, so unfortunately does not have lift access. We do hope to have an accessible studio by the end of 2019. We apologise to those who cannot access this workshop at this time.
