We are beyond excited to announce a collaborative Islington Mill artist residency between LIE NING & Lavender Rodriguez!
The German musician, model and dancer is stopping by as part of their upcoming European “slow tour“. They will be collaborating with a variety of local artists, including, first and foremost, local musician Lavender Rodriguez. Building upon a shared celebration of intersectionality and queerness, the two will be exploring the synergies between their work, including intense pop-moments, emotional pictures, dreamy landscapes & afro-futuristic sounds.
SEPTEMBER 25TH, 6-9PM: Free, intimate queer/bipoc writing workshop with both artists right at Islington Mill, facilitated by Out on the Page. Spaces are highly limited and can be booked via Eventbrite here.
SEPTEMBER 26TH, 7:30PM onwards: Public celebration event at Islington Mill, featuring an evening concert with collaborative sets, an exhibition by Anisha Bedesha and Meme Gold on DJ duties for an afterparty. It‘s free, but donations are welcome. Do come down and celebrate with us!
