How Can We Tell Our Story?

Islington Mill has always been more than bricks and mortar. It’s a queer, DIY, political space, and a community built from shared ideas, creativity, and collective care. As we begin to reshape how we tell the story of the Mill — on our website, our social media, and out in the world — we don’t want to do it alone.

On 1st October, from 6pm onwards, we’re inviting our community of artists, residents, friends and allies to join a workshop at the Mill. Together, we’ll ask:

  • What makes the Mill unique?

  • How do we share our radical, inclusive spirit with the world?

  • What stories want to be told?

This workshop is for everyone — no experience required. Bring your ideas, your memories, your voices, and let’s shape our story together.

After the workshop, we’ll share a pot luck dinner around the table. Bring a dish if you’d like, or just bring yourself.
