In this 4 hour workshop you will design and make ceramic beads and pendants with local artist Aliyah Hussain. You will learn handbuilding and colour decoration skills, being guided through the process in a friendly, relaxed group. This workshop is available to adults only (16+), all abilities welcome!
Your ceramic jewellery will be fired and glazed after the session, and ready for you to collect after a couple of weeks.
The workshop will take place in the Common Room (first floor) at Islington Mill.
We will provide tea and coffee, and a light (vegan) lunch, but feel free to bring snacks and refreshments.
Due to the popularity of this workshop and limited places booking is essential, and places are non-refundable or transferable.

Aliyah Hussain is a visual artist and jewellery designer based at Islington Mill in Salford. She makes playful contemporary jewellery that is inspired by her own sculpture and drawing.
