*a work relating to ‘sound art’ that is not necessarily committed to or passionate about John Cage’s hegemonic mutterings bent into a mobius strip.

The event will be hosted at Islington Mill gallery and presented by Ecka Mordecai

Ecka is a performance/sound artist specialising in ‘cello, composition/improvisation and listening.
She studied sound art at BA and MA level and now works in the cracks between the art and music industries.

Tea, coffee, biscuits provided, donations very welcome.

physical accessibility:
The entrance, gallery and toilet are all on the ground floor, no steps, a long shallow ramp on the way in.

intellectual accessibility:
this group is designed to be for anyone.
You don’t need a background in sound art, or specialist language.
