FINAL PARTY IN FAT OUT’S BURROW

£5 Earlybird / £8 ADV

Two years ago Islington Mill gave us their Club Space. No rules. No expectations. Just full trust and support. We were given full rein of our favourite venue which became our Burrow.

The programming residency was offered to us on a two year basis and this summer our time is up. Islington Mill offered a continuation of our residency, and it wasn’t an easy decision to make, but we have decided to hang up our hats and close The Burrow chapter at the Mill. Not without one fucking massive final party on Saturday 19th August.

So what we got up our fat sleeves? Well of course we are starting out with some rowdy bands in The Burrow. The SAFEST band from Bletchley, Action Beat, the most primal of rackets Klaus Kinski, the mighty return of Mind on Fire supergroup Go Lebanon AND a very special performance hailing the Godfathers of heavy metal DAQ SABBATH

Whilst over in the gallery Bad Uncle & Tombed Visions take over from 8-12 with Dave and Benji’s Big Night In. Banging tunes, pizza, wrestling & CARLING w/ Lake of Snakes Grotbags, Locean, Patty Hearst & Hotshorts.

For the Burrow after party we had to call on our favourite party babes High Hoops to keep us dancing until dawn w/ Kerrie (Eastern Bloc/I Love Acid), Yadava (So Flute) & a special DJ set by Robbie & Marcos themselves.

Over in the Gallery we’ve invited THE COALITION OF CHAOS: A strong and stable selection of DJs, bands and friends from the This City is Ours & Mind on Fire parties, bringing music from across the spectrum to the negotiating table.

And in the courtyard … Cocktails, fire, magicians, Tropical Tarot and an early morning bounce (yep!).

This is gonna be a very emotional goodbye to our Burrow but we are certainly leaving with an almighty Fat Out BANG.
