Christina Schultz is a multidisciplinary artist, rooted in projects with a collaborative approach. In her practice she creates performative and audiovisual narratives parting from concepts such as error, loss, and affection, understanding them as opportunities.
She develops her projects from collaboration with others. As a self-taught, non-institutional person she develops non-conformist methodologies to explore the gap between invention and intervention, between poetic and instructive talk. She works in a transversal way but with some preference for performance, sound and stop motion.
Christina comes to Islington Mill to explore the doubts and questions the Manchester people she will be able to meet during her stay have towards the new political situation of the exit of Britain from the European Union. She invites anyone who wishes, to have a cup of tea at her studio and talk.
Please get in touch through: contact@christinaschultz.com, FB or visiting her directly in her studio from 12th to 22th of February 2017.
