Manchester's first and only burlesque and retro pin up artist and member of burlesque double act The Chantilly Belles
I am currently exhibiting in Sunderland for the concluding part of my burlesque art residency. The exhibition, 'What do you think you're looking at...The Sunniside of Burlesque' is being held at The Place in Sunniside Gardens until the 17th December 2008.
This show is a mixture of performance, photography painting and video and a collaboration between myself, Art-Wave local Sunderland artists and university students.
I have been directing the art work for the past eight months and am really looking forward to attending the private view on the 17th!
Other news:
I now have a new blog! My online sketchbook, 'Lipstick Powder and Paints' is a chance to see behind the scenes of my art work, my inspirations and travels as I create new work and perform on the burlesque circuit.
A small selection of my paintings from the 'Bon Bons' series are currently on sale at Islington Mill's shop 'FROM SPACE'. Catch these cheeky treats while you can!
