Join WONDERHAUS for an introduction to wax carving for lost wax casting.
In this introductory workshop, you will work at your own pace with guidance through a variety of techniques to create your own ring design in wax.
All materials will be provided including the cost of casting the ring in Sterling Silver.
You will learn about the properties of different forms of wax, be introduced to the tools used to carve and how to use them to complete your ring design.
PLEASE NOTE: This course is an introduction to wax carving for casting only. You wont be working with silver directly in the workshop but your design will be cast in silver, polished, finished and posted to you.
Suitable for ages 16+ and any ability
